BOC Medical believe that a medical gas supplier, should do more than just supply a product:
Local Account Managers BOC Medical has a nationwide team of local account managers dedicated to specific hospitals in their local area. The account managers provide one point of regular and personal contact for any issues that may arise: from paperwork and deliveries, to providing relevant literature and information to support the best use of any of our products. Customer Service Centre Customers can contact a BOC customer service advisor supported by 'medical champions' 24 hours a day, via our freephone number: 0800 111 333 Extensive Delivery Network The BOC Medical delivery network is well spread around the country with seven sites nationwide for filling and distribution and many more used just for distibution purposes. This ensures reliable and frequent deliveries, meaning customers can lower stock levels and reduce risk. We can guarantee emergency deliveries within four hours. Innovation The products and services available from BOC Medical are at the leading edge of design and best practice. Lightweight, high-pressure cylinder packages, which do not require seperate regulators or flowmeters have been developed, and the new Active Risk Management service helps hospitals lower the risks associated with medical gases. New training offerings are also available involving e-Learning technology.
Synergy is BOC Medical's new service offering that makes the most of their capabilities to provide a more efficient, less labour-intensive service for a hospital. There are six main additions from the standard level offer: 1. Unaided delivery A dedicated driver with knowledge of usage patterns can make deliveries (and remove empty cylinders) day or night without any assistance from hospital staff. 2. Multiple deivery points Up to five locations can be selected for deliveries on the same journey, reducing the work for porters. 3. Five free emergency deliveries Emergency deliveries can be made at any time on any day, and they are guaranteed to be with a hospital within four hours. With the synergy service, five of these deliveries are free each year. 4. On-line accounts The customer portal part of the BOC Medical website gives easy access to all account information, including holdings, tank gas levels, and invoice histories. 5. Single Monthly Charge BOC Medical can simplify costs to a monthly fee that can be paid via direct debit. 6. Compass cylinder tracking A Web Based package gives the ability to track individual cylinders, avoiding losses and optimising cylinder efficiency. Installation and training are provided.
