Although the principal gas we supply to hospitals is oxygen, we supply every gas that a hospital needs (excluding main gas supplies) in whatever quantity it is required. Our unique product range touches nearly every department, from nitrous oxide for use in anaesthesia to helium for cooling the magnets in MRI scanners. From manufacture through to delivery, product quality is of critical importance to BOC. We go to extraordinary lengths to ensure that we not only comply with, but also exceed the recognised product quality and safety standards. BOC is ISO 9000 registered in each of its manufacturing processes ensuring this quality is reached. All our medicinal gases supplied to the UK medical markets are covered under BOC's manufacturer's licence No.ML/0735/01 issued by the Medicines Control Agency.
